Minimalist Film Posters

It has been suggested that i look at minimalist film posters, and given that i am looking at magazine covers featuring films, i think that it is relevant that i do so. This is because i may find that simply i can really capture the film/main character in one image

I would like to produce something along these lines, however i feel that it should be a bit more substantial given it's desired context.
